The design comes from an original hamsa that once hung from a synagogue lamp in Tetuan, Morocco in the early 20th century. It is part of the famous Feuchtwanger Collection at the Israel Museum, Jerusalem. Each piece includes a certificate of authenticity and a short description of its history in English and Hebrew.
This hamsa is made from blackened brass with gold-plated details and has a beautiful, eye-catching design. Its size — 4.1" × 6.1" (10.5 × 15.5 cm) —
The engraved leaf pattern is inspired by classic North African art, and the thumb is shaped like a rooster’s head, giving the piece a special and playful character.
